Jaques Meistesinger BBD Chorus, Color "Grey/Black", The MeisterSinger was created to run the gamut of chorus effects from vintage to modern, subtle to severe. Its simple but versatile controls can create any chorus sound imagineable and allow the user to place them anywhere in the audio spectrum. The MS-2 excels at preserving the original tone of the guitar used as well as the sound of the amp its plugged into. Like most chorus units, the MS-2 features Rate and Depth controls to determine the speed and degree of the effect. However, Jacques has endowed these simple controls with a vastly extended range, allowing for everything from near-invisible doubling to cosmic ray gun blurs to sea-sick vibtrato. All these tonal colors can then be blended against the dry input signal using the MS-2s Effect Level control. This section contains a real audio Mixer that blends your natural tone with the chorused signal to create unusual yet perfectly musical time-based effects. 100% analog, the MS-2 uses the coveted BBD ICs used in vintage units that are sadly now out of production.
