It's an 8 lug drum with chrome hardware. At 3mm thick, it's one of the thickest metal snares available. The Aluminum shell provides a warm, round, full-bodied tone similar to a wood shell snare. Each drum is fitted with 8 center lugs, die-cast hoops on top and bottom, classic Gretsch knurl design and integrated drum key holder in the shell. The die cast hoops give it that bright cracking rim shot. Comes equipped with a coated Permatone batter head,a Permatone snare side head and 42 strand snare wires.
