GMS 7x13 Special Edition SE Aluminum Snare Drum
GMS bearing edges utilize a 45-degree cut on the inside of the shell and a shallow 45-degree counter cut on the outside. The throw-off and butt system was designed to be simple, trouble free, and effective. The snare drum features 20 strand heat treated high carbon steel snare wire. Hoops are 2.3mm steel triple flanged. This drum will ship with an Evans coated G1 top, and 300 gauge snare side.
This drum's aluminum shell produces a sound that is warmer and more full-bodied than steel, yet with all the projection, volume, and crack you can handle, making it the perfect compromise between wood and steel.
