American amplifier designed to deliver a full range of clean and overdriven
sounds for home, stage, and studio.

Description
The 6L6 Viceroy is biased deeply into Class A, yielding a pushed,
ready-to-jump feel. The vibe from The Viceroy is explosive and forward-tilting.
It distorts very well in a large curd Tweedish way when cranked, and the clean
tone is gorgeous and dimensional. The 1x12 is wonderfully compact.
Features include reverb, two power levels (33 or 7 watts), a variable drive
control (internal clean boost which gives the amp more push and OD
when the amp is turned up - you can hear more of the winding on strings and
dynamic, super twang), and a footswitchable fixed boost (partial tone stack
bypass) which greatly increases midrange punch and yields a wonderful grind. The
resulting volume increase is just right for a solo, or if the amp is really
overdriving, it thickens and adds sustain. Lighted footswitch included.
Controls include volume, treble, mid (with panel on/off for boost), bass,
reverb, drive, and power level.
Artists and Press
[The Viceroy] is the most responsive amp I've ever used. Really! I can
use those essential sorta-dirty tones and still hear individual strings within a
chord, or I can dig in a little harder and the whole thing glues together.
Players who use a combination of pick and fingers on their picking hand will
notice how you can really hear the subtle tone effects of that style. The clean
sound can be glassy or warm, and the overdriven sound can be anywhere along the
scale. When I went from humbucking pickups to single-coils, I was just as happy.
This amp extends what either of those types of pickups can do. What fun! -

I have never--I MEAN NEVER--heard a 1x12 combo with that much tone! I
plugged in, hit 3 notes, and the guys in my band said, ˜NOW THAT'S TONE! ™
