Carr Amplifiers, Slant 6V Head, Color "Black", This dual-channel amp does it all. The distortion channel ranges from punchy, crunchy, and brilliant to a darker and smoother vintage tweed tone, while the big, warm clean channel has been described as simply the best around.***does not include cabinet***Two independent foot-switchable channels Channel one: classic clean to blues grit with reverb -Channel two: sixties crunch to screaming sustain (two gain settings) 5AR4 Tube Rectifier Unique dual bias output stage At half-power settings, the Slant 6V uses either cathode bias, like early tweed and British AC style combos; the inherent natural compression delivers plentiful sustain and tasty harmonic distortion while giving the player super feel and control over the amp's dynamics; in the fixed bias setting, the amp acts more like modern American and British classics, delivering a punchy attack, more power, and a tighter sound At full power, the Slant 6V uses four power tubes, two in cathode bias, and two in fixed bias; this truly unique feature combines the best of both worlds for a sound that is warm and rich, with plenty of depth and sweet harmonics, yet punchy and defined 6V6 EH output tubes Floating baffle board 4, 8, and 16 ohm output impedance selector 40 watt dual bias output stage switchable half-power settings (cathode [18w] or fixed [22w] bias)
